  23. Okay, let's talk about fair. Dan Quayle was brought into a spelling bee
  24. and handed a card with the word "potatoe" written on it. Since this is
  25. an alternate (if obscure) spelling, he fully expected it to be the spelling
  26. that was being taught to the children there, so he asked the child for
  27. the final letter.
