- Many parts of the post make sense. But there is one major gaping hole in it:

- On what basis can you claim that some of the parts of the bible make sense or
- are logically acceptable, and therefore the entirety of it all is 100%
- accurate?

- To take a relatively simple example, consider the story of Adam and Eve. Do
- you accept the idea that they were the first members of the human race?
- If so, have you ever taken a genetics course? Ever wondered why children
- produced by incest often have major health problems? Do you believe that
- all the species of animals on the earth can be placed in a boat (however large)
- built out of wood?

- Bible discussion on alt.atheism takes the form of complaining about the Bible's
- reference to pi as being 3. This is patently ridiculous. I hope this doesn't
- turn into something similar.
