- So you are saying that being unable to commit is a good thing?
-
- Most people who are involved in 'open' relationships that work decide
- to have 'open' relationships quite some time after they have been married/
- committed to each other. In fact, everyone I know who is in an
- 'open' marriage did the spouse only thing for at least a few years.
- They committed, and then later on down the road, they *both* decided that
- having a relationship where they were both able to express their affection
- for other people in a physical manner was a desirable thing.
-
- You = can't commit.
-
- Them = Committed, dealt with a growing relationship in an adult manner.
-
- >Why do you think marriage is marriage?
-
- Look, many different people have many different ideas on what constitutes
- marriage and/or a relationship. Your particular view is fine for you,
- but please, don't try and force it down the rest of our throats.
-
- > But to all of you open minded boys out there (who probably
- >aren't married and have open relationships to begin with), good luck with
- >your phony gold rings and glass diamonds and may a better man (which
- >wouldn't be hard to find) win your open minded wife(if she is truly open
- >minded like you tell all your late night sexual partners).
-
- Oh..we are so hurt. *gasp swoon* If you are implying that most people
- in open relationships are cheating on their wives, well, you are way off
- base. The wives know and *approve* of their husband's activities and are
- themselves engaged in said activities. Please, your views are fine for
- you, but don't assume that they are what every woman in the world wants.
