  12. While I agree that it's pretty nasty to go around having sex with
  13. other people while your partner assumes you're being monogamous, and
  14. while I have more than a touch of distaste for being some married
  15. guy's play toy without any sort of emotional involvement, I've
  16. discovered two things:

  18. (1) married men (or recently divorced men) tend to make love a little
  19. bit differently, and dare I say more passionately,
  20.  
  21. and (2) you can often have such an impact emotionally on married men
  22. that they give themselves their just desserts (case in point, a fellow
  23. in Washington I met a few years ago who after having sex with me was
  24. totally unable to perform with his wife, and divorced her shortly
  25. thereafter).

  27. So, like anything else, there are pros and cons.  I wouldn't want to
  28. be the guy's wife, though.
