- Whoa, hold on. Are you sure? I am not quite clear on the whole
- meaning myself, but I don't think that the maples could possible pass this
- law. They were oppressed by the oaks, which would make the listener lead to
- believe that the oaks were in charge of the forest grove. Besides, hatchet,
- axes, and saws are all human tools, and there is no way that the maples
- would have any power to cut down, or opress, the oaks, unless a violent
- storm knocked them all down.

- I suspect that this noble law is a human creation, but don't quote
- me on that, for I'd need to really study the song more to give my own
- analysis.
