  12. I'm having some trouble with using the shell under Lemacs 19.3. 
  13. For every command I type in, the command is echoed and every line
  14. of the command's output ends in ^M.  Here's an example
  15.  
  16.     $ ls
  17.     ls^M
  18.     libc++util.a    libsstream.a^M
  19.  
  20.  
  21. This also happens in compilation buffers, and most other buffers
  22. that deal with Unix in some way or another.  I've tried some
  23. things with 'stty' but this hasn't worked universally.

  25. Has anyone else experienced this and know the solution?
