- I got the same type of error with gcc 2.3.2 using plain X11R5. The
- multiply defined routines were all Xt stuff (XtInitialize, etc.). When I turned
- off shared libs, it compiled fine. (Note that nothing else ever seemed to have
- problems being compiled -dynamic with X11R5, just Lucid Emacs.)
