  12. I installed the patches recently posted for VM.  Unfortunately it still does
  13. not rememdy the problem.  (I patched vm-lucid and highlight-headers)

  15. I traced it to "vm-headers-of" in the vm-message lisp file.  The
  16. argument, "message" is being passed in ass null.  I added a test for
  17. null to return nil, and then the problem went to the "vm-text-of"
  18. function, with the same problem.

  20. So, either the functions should be checking for a nil message, or it
  21. shouldn't call the functions.  Any ideas or suggestions?
