  11. I have recently started upgrading to Lucid emacs 19.4.
  12.  
  13. I have noticed the following problem with it, which didn't happen with
  14. 19.3.
  15.  
  16. When I create a new screen (using C-x 5), it is initially mapped with
  17. the same size as my initial X screen (window).
  18.  
  19. It then immediately resizes to a size of 80 columns by 4 lines.
  20.  
  21. This is a bit annoying.
  22.  
  23. Has anyone else experienced this?
  24.  
  25. Are there any workarounds?
