- I have a key that looks something like this:

- and I'd like to use it in a lock that needs it to "look" like this:

- __ _ / \ _ ____ /
- / \_/ \_/ \_/ \ / \ /
- / \_/ \__/

- \__________________________________________
- \
- \______/ |
- ^ |
- Only difference is here.

- The existing key doesn't have any "extra" metal, it is just deficient in the
- indiciated position. Can I use a properly shaped chunk of wood or other
- material and push it in with the key, is there a better way?
