  28. I have been looking for this program for ages myself. 
  29. In the book "sed & awk" by Dale Dougherty (1992) he spends a whole
  30. chapter discussing the "awkcc" - an awk-to-C compiler, but I haven't
  31. seen anything of it. The closest I've gotten to finding it is two
  32. man-pages describing how wonderful it is!
