- I got a stack of stuff from Barry Grant Fuel Systems a few months back.
- They do convert Holleys for Methanol use. It costs. From what the flyer
- gave out, it's mostly replacement of alcohol-sensitive materials and
- fuel-flow modifications to the inlet and maybe the main metering run
- and power valve restrictors (my guess). They seem to be willing to sell
- piece parts - there's a full price list in there, and the prices sure are
- full. For the out-of-the-box alcohol carbs they want to add in a bunch of
- race-related stuff which jacks up the end price and limits streetability -
- no choke, etc., fancy foam baffles and jet extensions and custom floats,
- all that sort of thing. A set of alcohol-compatible seals and floats
- and a better-flowing float valve might suffice, along with a jet change.
