  26. Aha! Someone who thinks as I do! Almost everyone I have talked to liked
  27. either _The Gunslinger_ or _The Wastelands_ better. I loved _Drawing_--
  28. seeing how Roland got the others there and how they reacted to being pulled
  29. out of their world. _Gunslinger_ was good, but VERY drawn out. I really
  30. liked the last 50 pages or so, but it took me a long time to get there!
  31. (And it seemed even longer than it actually was! :) ) _WasteLands_ was my
  32. second favorite as well, and the only thing I want to say about it is,
  33. "Oh, Come ON! A TALKING train!" (And one on a suicide mission! Who will
  34. kill himself and everyone else unless they come up with a joke that
  35. he can't answer!-- Yeah, Right!) Although there have been rumors on the
  36. net lately that King isn't going to continue the series, I'm going to
  37. continue to hope because I want to learn more about Rolands friends that
  38. he grew up with. (I can't remember their names... the ones from his
  39. chilhood that he snuck off to the execution with, etc.) I heard that's
  40. what _Wizards and Glass_ was supposed to be about.  I also want to
  41. hear more about Susannah, Eddie... etc. Anyway, I agree with the original
  42. poster about the fact that if King cancels this series, he's going to
  43. be doing himself a big dis-service because a LOT of people like this series.
