- I own a '74 strat with a hardtail, that I bought in '74. Great Guitar!
- The sustain to my ears is a lot better than the vibrato type bridge.
- (Sorry, its not for sale).

- Three suggestions:
- - Talk to the fender custom shop, and see how much it would cost to custom
- order a guitar this way
- - Check out the Robert Cray Strat, it comes with a hardtail bridge
- - Look for a used one. I would think they would be resonable as everyone
- seems to use the bar these days.
