  24. I've known of him for years now, from when he was a kid in local
  25. metal bands here in Kitchener/Waterloo up through being invited to 
  26. tour and record with Frozen Ghost, and various other freelance efforts.  
  27. He is very hot.  I don't know if he has the classical and blues 
  28. depth of Emmett, but as far as modern metal chops is concerned 
  29. (which is all that matters for Triumph, really) Phil has got it together.   
  30. Another concern of a band such as Triumph is, of course, image.  
  31. Phil has it here too.  He has great stage presence.

  33.     Rik comes across as a very down-to-earth nice guy (not that
  34. I've ever met him).  It has been a few years since I last spoke 
  35. with Phil X, so I don't know if his ego has exploded since then,
  36. but at the time he seemed like a pretty nice guy.

  38.     Oh, check out Phil's guitars.  They're made by Brad Freiheit,
  39. a local guitar builder.  Nice work.  (Mine's waiting for a paint job :-)
