- What has happened is that your neck dried out. The heat was probably turned off
- over vacation (or way down) and it got very dry in there. Lesson: Don't leave
- your guitar in the drom next year.

- As for what can be done, my experience has been that this can't usually be fixed.
- If you're lucky, the humidity in the air may slowly alleviate the problem some,
- but the chances of thewood returning to the original shape are pretty slim.

- The truss rod will do you no good, because bowing isn't the problem. You may need
- a new neck (read: expensive).
