- Gents and Ladies. Further to my follow-up on buying an Ovation I used the
- phrase...
-
- "of Korean/Jap origin"
-
- I had one mail message that warned me about the possible racist interpretation
- of my abbreviation. If this has caused offence I appologise. The terms
- "US Ovation" and "Jap Ovation" are equivalent to me and refer to a place
- and not my attitude to the two sets of people (whatever that means). In the
- UK (opps there I go again) my abbreviation has no such connotations and I was non-living during WWII times (a reference to the mail message).
-
- I was glad to recieve the mail warning me about this.. Once again I appologise
- if any offense was taken, none was meant. I learn and modify my language
- for net use.
-
- Cheers
