- I posted a picture to a.b.p.m called B24-nose.jpg. If one looks closely
- at this picture
- you can see where the artwork was painted over rivets. What is the best way to remove
- them. I have used Microsoft Paintbrush to copy a small region from near each rivet
- onto the rivet to mask it. Is there a better way? Bear in mind that this image
- will be made into a decal about 4 inches square.
-
- The second thing that I have to do to this picture is to selectively colorize it to
- add the flesh tones where appropriate (the model is wearing a white bathing suit that
- must remain white). I have used pgmtoppm to colorize the entire image quite
- successfully. I get the effect I want where the flesh color is "painted" on and
- modified by the grayscale image. Is there a better way to selectively colorize than
- to create a series of completely black or white masks for each portion of the
- image and use pgmtoppm to colorize some of them
- and then use ppmarith to reassemble the image?
