- Whether or not I'll give second rounds is situational.
-
- If there is a long line of people waiting to play (2 or more), then I
- will try to crush the opposition as quickly as possible, unless I'm trying
- to annoy someone who's waiting in line. The scrub can wait for a time
- when the machine is not so busy to practice his skills. It's not fair
- for the 'real' competition to wait in line and get less playing time than
- the scrub.
-
- If I'm feeling generous or bored, I'll play the scrub one-handed. Obviously,
- if he loses, he deserved it. He needs to practice much more if he can't
- beat someone who's playing one-handed.
-
- If there's just me and the scrub, I'll play two-handed for all three rounds,
- and try to give a good match the second round. I'll hit the scrub with
- one jab or short sweep attack for every mistake that he made. If he makes
- enough mistakes to get himself killed with jabs and short sweeps, then he
- didn't deserve a second round and needs to practice on the computer.
-
- I will not hesitate to throw or even 'cheap' a scrub. I think it would
- be cruel to deprive them of the opportunity to learn to counter and expect
- these situations.
