- decompression library with DOS and Unix support.

- Whilst the `lossyness' of JPEG is usually acceptable, I've
- occaisionally found pictures which have little green dots in them; not
- noticable until you look closely, but then very annoying. Compression
- ratios on digitized images are very impressive; I have seen 1 meg go
- down to about 70k, but that's exceptional; normally, I expect about
- 500k to 80k or so.
