  27. From the time I was 14, I've avoided self-centered jerks.
  28. I've had three dates try to become abusive (one hit me; 
  29. another strong-armed me to show that he didn't "have" to accept
  30. my refusal to have sex, another threw his drink at me and screamed
  31. obscene names). In each case, that's been the end of the relationship.
  32. Each of these cases, btw, were before I turned 21.

  34. I simply consider that kind of behaviour too dangerous to put up
  35. with it.

  37. If "the women in your sphere" are idiots, why not look elsewhere?
