- As a former professional magician and a 15 year veteren of the
- advertising industry I have to agree. The greater majority of humans are
- not the objective analytical creatures they imagine themselves to be. In
- deed, that very self delusion makes them even more vulnerable to
- misdirections. That's how we vanish the elephant, start wars, and sell
- 50 billion dolars worth of hair color and facial mud every year in
- this country. That's how certain vested political interests have sold
- the idea that men are jerks.... even to some men.
