- Look. I don't want innocent men to be prosecuted for rape. I consider
- that to be a given; perhaps I'm overly idealistic. However, from my
- personal experience, the laws, their enforcement, and the prevailing
- attitudes of society towards women's testimony are all slanted the other
- way, so as to let men guilty of rape be acquitted and go unpunished. I
- might add that some of those laws are stricter than you might think. In
- Massachusetts, for example, in order for it to be rape, the plaintiff
- has to have made any gesture of resistance at all; saying "no" once or
- struggling for one second is enough to qualify. Think about that. How
- many of you out there are guilty of rape in Massachusetts?
