  13. Where did you find your information about all of these designers
  14. being infected with AIDS?  As for there being a lack of new talent,
  15. it will never happen.  Most of your famous desisigners hhave teams
  16. working for them long after they have retretired.  For instance, before
  17. making a name for himself, Karl Lagerfeld designed for Chanel and 
  18. often still does.  Donna Katren (Karen) designed for Anne Klein
  19. beforeore going solo,,, and I'm sure that designers such as Yves St.
  20. Laurent and Dior have design teams working for them. (Especially
  21. Dior since he is no longer living)  There are also some great
  22. new designers coming up in the field.  What about Todd Oldham!
  23. Vogue magazine features new designers getting national recognition
  24. all of the time!
