What great news to come into work and find a PGW group. A couple of comments
and then I will not waste your time further:
The answer tho the Nazi simpithizing story was correct. PGW was duped and was
not a Nazi sympathizer.
During the height of his popularity in the twenties and thirties, mens clubs
were springing up all over the world in salute to the books - 10 cents to
the person that can name these clubs???????
And now for my own self interest. I have recently begun the very nasty habit
of collecting books. Of course, due to the volume of his work, my biggest
section is Wodehouse books. I have about 12 or 13 first editions and am lookingfor more, if you are willing to sell. First editions with original Jacket
Covers are worth much more.
I can be reaced on the net at tipset@cc.bellcore.com or at 908-873-0633 in
New Jersey. I have a voice mail in the San Fran bay area 510-823-3135.
