  12. THe current Wodehouse series on PBS is indeed a product of the BBC, and
  13. although I hadn't really noticed the discrepency between American series
  14. and Brit, I don't recall there being anything particularly unusual in 
  15. Jeeves and Wooster running as long as it did (I was in Wales when they
  16. originally ran.)  
  17. For any who don't know, Laury and Fry (forgive the spelling if it is wrong)
  18. have worked together on numerous occasions and are fairly well known in the
  19. UK.

  21. As to the old Whodehouse series; it was called "Wodehouse Playhouse" and it was
  22. based on the Mulliner stories.

  24. My opinion of the series?  They ham it up a good bit, but somehow it works--more because of Wodehouse than the actors, I imagine.
