  15.         I notice that in all the past discussions my "favorite " characters 
  16.         have not been mentioned. I allude to the Duke of Dunstable and 
  17.         Percy Pilbeam.
  18.         
  19.         Dunstable has the habit of imposing himself on Lord Emsworth's hospitality.
  20.         He is frequently an unwelcome  guest at Blandings and usually ends up turning
  21.         the place upside down. Lady Constance (am I right??) looks favorably on him
  22.         so he gets away with his antics.
  23.         
  24.         Percy Pilbeam, with his marcelled hair, brilliantine and all, is a despicable
  25.         character who again weasels his way into households and tries to get his hands 
  26.         on some valuable or other. He ultimately is foiled, but until then it is laugh
  27.         after laugh.
  28.         
  29.         It is some time since I read any book with Pilbeam in it. Does anybody remember
  30.         any titles?
