- On unusual Wodehouse books... while the school stories (The White Feather,
- The Head of Kay's, The Gold Bat, Mike at Wrykin (I think there's one more))
- fall into a different class, they make enjoyable reading.
-
- However, there has been one Wodehouse book that has no humour
- whatsoever, and stands apart from all the others that I've read -
- "The Coming of Bill" (a pre-quel (if such a word exists) to
- "Bill the Conquerer"). Does anyone know about the background
- behind this book?
-
- He also wrote "Louder.. and Funnier," which (in my opinion)
- may have been louder, but wasn't funnier. Are there any
- others in this class?
