- The title was "Mike and Psmith" when I read it (though it may have
- appeared under more than one name). Mike = Michael Jackson (the
- star batsman, as you said, and not the more modern version) of
- "Mike at Wrykin" fame. He played at least one county game (for Surrey?
- Middlesex?) and would probably have played for England if there were another
- book about him... or maybe not, since PGW seemed to shy away from making his
- characters too famous. "M & P" was a sort-of sequel to "M @ W."
