  13. Today Rush played (twice at least) what he claimed was the recorded voice
  14. of an interview with Senator Lloyd Bentsen, now Secretary of the Treasury.
  15. In this supposed recording, a voice said something on the order of
  16. "Those middle class voters will fall for a lie about tax cuts every time."

  18. Was this really Bentsen's voice, and did he really say this to mean
  19. this, or was it taken out of context?  (i.e. Did Bentsen really
  20. say something like "[The republicans believe that] those middle class..."?)

  22. Prepared to be aghast, but I've been lied to with misquotes before...
