- George Bush is a seasoned politician. I am not [yet :)]. Yet I would
- not have acted so amazed at a new bar code reader that could extrapolate
- and understand partially read codes. George Bush would, you would think,
- have enough saavy to avoid reacting in such a way to such mundane develop-
- ments when the media is present. Had he been used to using bar code readers
- at supermarkets, I doubt he would have been so surprised at such an
- incremental innovation in established technology. Now, I in no way
- am suggesting that merely because Mr. Bush isn't familiar with bar code
- readers, that it follows he was a bad President. For that, we must
- assess the impact of his adminstration's policies.
