  23. That is because her "means" were illegal (while working families strugle to
  24. find legal ways of procuring child care).

  31. Maybe so, by the "family values types" were not the ones that shot Zoe down.
  32. The Dems in the Senate rebelled when flooded with negative calls.  After 
  33. listening to her confirmation hearings, I, a self proclaimed liberal, was 
  34. publicly calling for her to step down.

  36. Ironicly, Sen. Orin Hatch was one of the loudest Baird supporters.

  42. I attribue the flap to not taking enough time to look into and think about
  43. Zoe's background.  Clinton was in a rush to name someone before Christmas
  44. (to quiet the critics that were saying he was taking to long) and made a 
  45. bad choice.  I'm glad that they were smart enought to admit the mistake 
  46. rather than spend political capital trying to justify her actions (like
  47. Bush prolonged the Sununu embarasment).
