  19. Polls continually show that people are willing to pay higher taxes for
  20. one good cause or another, eg Mass Transportation, Child Care,
  21. Defense, Health Care, Deficit Reduction etc.  Personally, I would be
  22. willing to pay higher taxes if it would guarantee that the Democratic 
  23. party never again saw the light of day.
