- Polls continually show that people are willing to pay higher taxes for
- one good cause or another, eg Mass Transportation, Child Care,
- Defense, Health Care, Deficit Reduction etc. Personally, I would be
- willing to pay higher taxes if it would guarantee that the Democratic
- party never again saw the light of day.
