- Also interesting is the context in which he made the comment about
- Lincoln. The subject of his military experience came up in a debate
- and he said that since Lincoln had never served in the military and
- was a good president that he could be a good president himself.
- This is almost *exactly* like the remark from Dan Quayle that
- prompted Lloyd Bentsen's famous "Your no John Kennedy" line.
