  17. Being powerful is good.  Spending yourself into oblivion to achieve that power
  18. is rather silly.  We are nearing that point, with some definite help from some
  19. big mistakes known as Social Security, pork-barreling, and New Deal programs 
  20. that were not discontinued when they were done kick-starting the country.
