- In all the research I did for Richard Posner's book on the economics of AIDS,
- not once did I come across this figure or anything remotely near it. Nor
- have I ever seen it in the sci.med.aids postings from the CDC summaries.
- Sounds to me like Jesse Helms is making it up or you misunderstood what he
- actually said.

- confirm or refute it for yourself. Let us know what they say.
