- Not only tax increase, but spending increases as well. As last
- I understood it, he intends to "grow" out of the deficit by spending
- federal money. In addition, his health care reform sounds like a plan
- to spend more money and increase the federal role in paying for health
- care. And beyond that there is his "national service (or slavery
- depending on your politics)" plan which is not going to be free either
- to administer or to operate. And on a smaller scale, there is public
- financing for political campaigns.
- Now if he and his supporters want all these things, then at
- the very least they have to show how they are going to pay for them
- and reduce the deficit at the same time.
