  23. That is what many people in Eastern Europe "really think", too.  The American 
  24. media, on the other hand, tend to give most of the credit to Gorbachev.

  26. Eastern European Communism was propped up by the Soviet Union, and would 
  27. probably have continued indefinitely if the Soviets had not bankrupted
  28. itself trying to keep up with the US in the arms race.  The proposed
  29. "nuclear freeze" that you probably thought was so great would only have
  30. delayed the fall of Communism... and yet you STILL want to preach to US
  31. about how we "should have" dealt with the Soviets?  Amazing...
