If I recall, and I do. Reagan was payed 4 million by fuji corporation to make one speech in japan to a japanese audience. The speech was to a corperate only audience, and was within a few months (if not weeks) of leaving office. Check your local paper archive for more details. I remeber the event clearly, as it ment the begining of the end of my republicanism.
