- This is actually a sentence in Latin: Sator Arepo tenet opera rotas,
- where Sator is a title and Arepo is a name. So, translated it becomes:
- Sator Arepo tends the operaton of the wheels. This square, though
- really quite meaningless, was thought to be magical in medieval times,
- and can therefore be found inscribed in various places.
- It certainly worked wonders when I used it in my statistics exam thusly:
