  17. Well, time to air my opinions on the latest books (where's that soap box?)
  18.     - Moving Pictures: my all time DW favourite. Especially the
  19.         scene where Dibbler gets the idea of sharks.
  20.     - Pyramids: The best time travel story I have ever read,
  21.         with the possible exception of Julian May's series.
  22.         But Pyramids is much funnier :-) Especially the 
  23.         opening scene where Teppic falls over.
  24.         Most time travel stories are unmitigatedly stupid.
  25.     - Witches Abroad: Very good, especially Granny.The ending
  26.         scene (with the fight) was very powerful. The card
  27.         game was also magnificent.
  28.     - Lords and Ladies: not nearly as good as Witches abroad,
  29.         though still worth getting. A disapointment.
  30.     - Small gods: Better than L&L, but not up to MP,Pyr or WA.
  31.     - Guards Guards: Very good. I can't wait for GG II.

  34. TCOM - Enough to get me to look casually for Light Fantastic
  35. Light Fantastic - Enought to make me a TP fan, but still not as good
  36.            as the later ones
  37. Sourcery - Great, also interesting if you don't have a sense of humour.
  38. Equal Rites - The best of the early ones
  39. Mort - Good.
  40. Eric - Mediocre.

  43. Carpet people: Interesting, too similar to Nomes trilogy.
  44. Nomes trilogy: Great. Especially the book of Nomes.
  45. OYCSM: Childish (but what did I expect).
  46. Unadulterated cat: Fun, but short and uninspiring.

  48. GOOD OMENS: My all time favourite book. By miles.
