- ZAIR (not Berd) went between when Robinton died, perhaps out of love
- and loss. In the DLG, it compares fl hatchlings to ducklings,
- Impressing on the first being that feeds them, which is usually another
- fl in the wild. If two (or more) fl's spend years and years together, and
- one of them dies, it could conceivably set off a whole spate of fl
- deaths of heartbreak.
