  23. would have been in the other Weyrs of Pern at the time of the Ninth Pass.
  24. Thus, we would not have Pern being devastated by Thread.

  27. unable to rise to power as he did. Thus Lessa would have not been an orphan
  28. in hiding, but one of the Ladies of her Hold. In fact, she would possibly
  29. never have Impressed...

  44. There are references in both the Dragon Lover's Guide, and also in DragonsDawn
  45. that state that Fire Lizards have no `built in obsolecence' or aging. This 
  46. suggests that they do not get old. Indeed Anne states that one pair could
  47. ultimatly repopulate Pern should the need arise from their own clutches.

  49. I assume that Thread and Wherries are the prime cause of Fire Lizard deaths.
  50. I don't remember of hearing of any dying Between anywhere in the books.
