- The only way I'd want to see such a character created is if a player (who
- is an excellent roleplayer) were to present to the responsible body a
- complete plot, which would last for a limited time, and end in the
- character's death or disappearance from the areas of Pern played on the
- MUSH. (The plot, of course, to be something other than angst, anxiety, and
- finger-pointing provoking.) This would avoid at least some of the problem
- of how to pick the player (player who comes up with the best plot wins),
- and would also avoid giving the chosen player a permanent 'advantage'*.
