  23. The only way I'd want to see such a character created is if a player (who
  24. is an excellent roleplayer) were to present to the responsible body a
  25. complete plot, which would last for a limited time, and end in the
  26. character's death or disappearance from the areas of Pern played on the 
  27. MUSH. (The plot, of course, to be something other than angst, anxiety, and
  28. finger-pointing provoking.) This would avoid at least some of the problem
  29. of how to pick the player (player who comes up with the best plot wins),
  30. and would also avoid giving the chosen player a permanent 'advantage'*.
