- BRETT AS HOLMES
-
- I guess it's a matter of personal taste and our own
- expectations that determines which Holmes we each
- prefer. I find Brett's Holmes to be one of the best
- I have seen on film. The usual standard for most of
- us is Rathbone, who irritates me with his harsh
- treatment of Watson (I think he made a better villian).
- Christopher Lee was unconvincing in the recent TV
- movies (which were abominations, though I did enjoy
- the historical personalities, however badly done).
- I sure someone will disagree with me, but again, it is
- a matter of personal taste.
