- Thyra, being feline herself, ponders that for a minute.

- Well, I'm feline, and yes, hairballs -can- be a problem, if we use our
- tongues and paws to groom extensively. But we feline morphs also have a lot
- more control over when we get rid of them. (-Never- try to interrogate a
- feline morph after s/he has groomed. She might cough one up in your face,
- just for spite. <heh heh>) It's sort of like going to the bathroom for us.
- Once you get toilet trained, you stop tossing up hairballs uncontrollably,
- too.
-
- I usually only wash my face the 'old way', unless I'm preening for
- something special, or unless I have no other way to get clean. (Don't
- forget that a cat's saliva is also it's antiperspirant & deodorant). For
- the rest of the time, a shower or bath, followed by -lots- of brushing,
- does just fine.
-
- It -is- also a bonding experience though, and can be incredibly relaxing
- for us.
