  12. A 5/4 guitar piece in B

  14. This piece is the first track form "Shut Up  'n  Play  Yer  Guitar",  and
  15. this  is  what  I think it sounds like - it took me quite a while to work
  16. it out, and I would like to Know if it is correct. Could someone who  has
  17. the  Frank  Zappa  guitar  book  please tell me. I try and work out Zappa
  18. songs by ear so that my ear will improve, which in the last 18 months  or
  19. so  (since  I  worked  out  my first Zappa piece - Little House I used to
  20. live in from Burnt Weeny Sandwich) it certainly has.

  22. My  ear  is  better  at  picking  out  horizontal  lines  than   vertical
  23. intervals,  so  I'm  a  little  puzzled by the intervals present. I tried
  24. playing 555 with fourth  intervals  harmonized  above  the  melody.  This
  25. seems  right  but  is incredibly difficult to play !!!! - are these parts
  26. doubled by the other guitarists ??? - I  would  like  any  info  on  this
  27. before I spend months on learning the tune with fourth intervals added !!!
