- I thought the chapter on Hiroshima was excellent. It reminded me of the only
- two other serious pieces I've seen that Mr. Barry has written. Of course, I
- can't remember one of them, but the other was about the death of his father.

- Maybe you were expecting some humor in that chapter. I got the feeling that
- he thought it would be distastful to inject humor when talking about that city.
- I found what he did write to be very introspective look at the rememberence
- Hiroshima observed. Based on what he wrote, I think I would have felt the same
- way.

- Dave is an excellent writer, and I think he recognizes that there are a few
- times where humor is not appropriate.
