- Yes yes I know where you're coming from. But I didn't mean 'gee back in
- the good old 60's they had such great acid.' It's just that the ind of
- stuff that's being mass-marketed nowdays is pretty damn weak oftentimes.
- I've experienced sheets of 'acid' where you had to take 4 hits just
- to get off. And I don't think it's unreasonable to suspect that LSD
- from before 1966 was probably cleaner and easier to get in greater
- dosages than today, since it was LEGAL and came from sources like
- Sandoz laboratories, instead of appearing out of the basement of
- some guy who perhaps just wants to make a quick buck by selling
- a sheet of speed laced with a touch of LSD...

- So, in answer to your question, LSD itself is the same, but I suspect
- (no, I don't KNOW) that you may be somewhat less likely to actually
- get it nowadays. Of course it depends on your sources, but when I
- think of a sheet bought in the parking lot of a concert (the
- circumstance of the original posting) I usually think of pretty
- weak stuff (though I must say... this is definitely not ALWAYS the
