  18. Actually, IV speed is not so particularly dangerous physically.  One 
  19. becomes tolerant to the pressor effects fairly quickly.  You are much
  20. more likely to do something stupid and putting your life at risk as 
  21. a results of the psychological effects (ie paranoid schizophrenia and
  22. anorexia) than because of the toxic effects of the drug.

  24. Keep in mind this applies to good quality drugs.  I have seen some 
  25. speed on the east coast which contained more KOH and KCl than 
  26. methamphetamine.  I don't imagine injecting concentrated alkali into 
  27. your veins is too particularly healthy, to say nothing of the effects
  28. of a large bolus of KCl.
